Before I starting driving lessons, I was very nervous as I had a prior traumatic driving experience.  After taking a number of lessons with another driving instructor who was more interested in getting me committed to more driving lessons then the actual lessons, I found Ms Carolea Starke on the net and gave her a call.Ms. Starke helped me feel at ease and went at a pace that was comfortable to me.  Her teaching methods helped me gain confidence and she tailored the lessons to my needs. She outlined the necessary skills in logical steps for each lesson and assessed my challenges constructively and stopped them from being a problem later.

The consistent feedback and progress reports at the end and start of every lesson were very helpful. This gave me the necessary feedback to gauge how far along my learing had progressed.  Her assessments were a great help and it gave me confidence going into my test.  Her teaching method combined with her patience allowed me to translate theory into practice and ultimately I picked up the skills faster.  Ms. Starke’s calmness and easy going manner put me at ease and helped establish a positive learning situation.

I want to thank Ms. Starke for believing in me and for her outstanding professionalism, empathy and persistance.  I would have never made it without her determination and patience.  I fully recommend her to anybody who needs to learn to drive.  She is truly the best.

My life changed when I found Carolea. When I was young I was involved in a train/car accident in which I lost my mother and sister.Since then I have always used the public transportation system.I had to move to a small town and public transportation was not avaiable. Carolea worked with me for five months before my move. Her experience with anxiety and her patience were the only reason I conquered my fear and got my license. I would reccomend her to any one that has a special need with driving.
